            The BSN program at the College of Nursing is a dynamic experience that balances quality instruction and clinical experiences with Augusta University student life. It’s important to us that our future graduates get the total college experience during their time with us. There are a number of engaging communities, clubs, and activities for students of many interests.

            For our Augusta students, the city around campus has a variety of live shows offered throughout the year at four exclusive downtown event venues. For those who love the outdoors, Augusta has a variety of trails on land as well as water access to the Savannah River, Augusta Canal, and Clarks Hill Lake. If you’re interested in art and history, the city has numerous galleries and museums to keep you engaged for hours. Our Athens students can enjoy the UGA campus while also visiting parks, trails, the greenway, and the State Botanical Gardens. Both campuses host organizations such as the Black Student Nurses Society and the nursing honors society, Sigma Theta Tau International. Opportunities for nursing-focused community engagement can be found with the Health Grandparent Program and Costa Layman Outreach, both of which now have nearly 20 years of helping people under their belt.
