The BSN program at the College of Nursing is always excited to share the accomplishments of our outstanding faculty, who will share their time, talent, and experiences with you, should you choose AU. Our faculty team includes internationally known and recognized scholars and educators who discover and implement new knowledge that makes a difference in the lives of our citizens.

For example, Dr. Terri Marin conducts research that helps us identify early risk for kidney failure in neonates using near-infrared spectrometry to assess renal blood flow. Dr. Dawn Langley-Brady has been featured in Oprah magazine for her internationally disseminated work using aromatherapy to intercept pain pathways in cancer patients. Dr. Lynn Glenn is committed to helping mothers in rural communities manage their diabetes better to reduce health risks in their babies. Other faculty identify increased risk for sepsis and organ failure in victims at the ICU or care for migrant farm workers in the fields where they work to improve the health of themselves and their families. It is imperative that our faculty members enhance evidence-based practice and dedicate their expertise to expanding the nursing profession.
